Keepers of the Tradition is a collaborative venture between portrait artist Leslie Roberts Gregg and author Michael Abraham to showcase a dozen contemporary Appalachian people who are keeping the traditions of their forefathers alive. The project began in December 2013 and in February 2015, design files were sent to the printer for the book. The portraits and books were unveiled on April 26, 2015.

The book is 9″ x 12″, hardcover, with 96 full color pages, and is published by Pocahontas Press. It is available here on our website, at Pocahontas Press, and at the Alexander Black House and Cultural Center, Blacksburg.
