Keeper Edwin Lacy has started a new worship model in the Indian Valley section of Floyd County called Wild Goose Christian Community. His Presbytery allowed him the use of an old, soon to be abandoned church. He took out the pews and the carpet, put in a hearth, hardwood floors, and rocking chairs, and conducts a worship service “in the round” each week. He is a native of Wytheville and currently lives in Roanoke.
Here is an original composition by Edwin Lacy, Vulture Peak. It is from the Siamese Cousins album titled “Two Chairs, No Waiting” produced by Mountain Roads Records. Edwin’s album is available here.
